Data Retention & Deletion Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

1. Overview

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it to provide the Service to you and to meet legal, security, and operational requirements. This page explains our retention periods and how deletion works.

2. Retention Periods

  • Account & content data (profile, intentions, routines, reflections, notes, projects, tracking entries) — retained while your account is active.
  • Diagnostic & error data — retained for a limited period to investigate and fix issues, then discarded or aggregated.
  • Email & communications — support correspondence and email-sequence records are kept as long as needed to manage your communications and for reasonable record-keeping.
  • Backups — data may persist in encrypted backups for a short period after deletion before those backups rotate out.

3. Deleting Your Account

You can request deletion of your account at any time from within the app's settings or by emailing us. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and user-generated content from our active systems. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal backup rotation schedule.

4. Data We May Retain After Deletion

We may retain a limited amount of information after account deletion where we have a legal obligation or legitimate need to do so — for example, to comply with tax, accounting, or legal requirements, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, or to prevent abuse (such as keeping a record that an email previously unsubscribed). Such data is minimized and access-restricted.

5. Exporting Your Data

Where technically feasible, you may request an export of the personal data we hold about you in a portable format. Contact us to make a request.

6. Requests & Contact

To request deletion, export, or to ask a question about retention, contact privacy@xenith.life or support@xenith.life. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
