Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Xenith ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activities under your account. We may suspend or restrict accounts for abuse, fraud, or policy violations.

3. Service Description

Xenith provides productivity, planning, reflection, and personal tracking tools. Features may change over time, including additions, removals, and experimental capabilities.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activity includes:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt unauthorized access, scraping, abuse, reverse engineering, or disruption of infrastructure.
• Circumvent account controls, security measures, or usage limits.
• Use Xenith to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in Xenith. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

6. Intellectual Property

Xenith and its software, design, brand, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your own content and lawful use rights, no license is granted.

7. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Access

Xenith offers a free plan and a paid "Pro" plan. The free plan includes daily intentions, the Focus timer, reflection, routines, the 8-point Life Dimensions overview, the insights dashboard, the calorie tracker (including the Biometric Wizard), Books and Finance transactions, calendar sync with Google Calendar and Notion, task suggestions from Todoist, Microsoft To Do, and Google Tasks (with optional two-way sync for the last two), three AI Coach messages a day, one Growth Path with its first two tiers, white and brown noise, and one project. Pro unlocks every other Life Dimension tool (such as workout, sleep, and other tracking tools), ten AI Coach messages a day, Growth Paths for all eight dimensions with every tier, API access, every soundscape, unlimited projects, and priority support. We may change what is included in each plan going forward; material reductions to the free plan will be announced in the Service.

Feature gating. Pro-only screens and dashboard widgets are replaced with a preview and an upgrade prompt for free-plan users, and limited features (such as AI Coach messages and the later tiers of a Growth Path) show a prompt when you reach the limit. Where a widget would otherwise show your real, empty-because-gated data, we may instead display illustrative example data purely for preview purposes — this example data is never saved, submitted, or associated with your account.

Payment processing. Paid subscriptions are billed and processed by Stripe, Inc. Xenith redirects you to a Stripe-hosted checkout page to enter your payment details; we never receive, transmit, or store your full card number, CVC, or other raw payment credentials — Stripe handles that data directly under its own terms and privacy policy. We store only what Stripe returns to identify your subscription: your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan, status (e.g., active, trialing, past due, canceled), and renewal date.

Billing cycle and renewal. Pro is billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout, and renews automatically at the then-current price at the end of each billing period until canceled. We will honor any "founding" or promotional price locked in at signup for as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

Cancellation. You may cancel anytime from the Subscription tab in Settings, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access through the end of the billing period you already paid for, after which your account reverts to the free plan and Pro-only content becomes gated again (your underlying data is preserved, not deleted).

Refunds. Subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. If you have a billing question, email [email protected] and we'll take a look.

Local caching of access status. To avoid showing gated content while your Pro status loads, your browser caches your most recently confirmed plan status in local storage and re-validates it against our servers on each visit. This cache controls only what the interface displays optimistically; it never grants actual access to limited features. Limits on AI Coach messages and Growth Paths, and access to the API, are enforced on our servers. Some tracking tools that are marked Pro are gated in the interface only.

Your responsibilities. You are responsible for keeping your payment method current, reviewing charges, and managing your subscription through the Stripe billing portal. You are also responsible for keeping your account credentials secure — anyone with access to your account can use your active subscription, so promptly notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. AI Features

Xenith offers optional AI-assisted features (such as insights and growth guidance) powered by third-party AI providers. When you use these features, the relevant content you submit is sent to the provider to generate a response. AI-generated output is not always accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation, and should not be relied upon as professional, medical, financial, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any AI output before acting on it, and Xenith and its AI providers are not liable for any decision made or action taken in reliance on it. Do not submit content you are not permitted to share.

10. Notifications

With your permission, Xenith may send push notifications and emails (such as reminders and lifecycle messages). You can manage or disable notifications in your settings or device, and unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time. We may still send essential service or security communications.

11. Third-Party Sign-In

You may choose to sign in using third-party providers such as Google or Microsoft. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and you authorize us to receive basic account information (such as your email) to create and secure your Xenith account.

Connected tools. If you connect Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, Notion, or Todoist, you authorize us to access the data described in our Privacy Policy on your behalf, for the features you turn on. Two-way task sync is off until you switch it on, and you can switch it off or disconnect at any time. Xenith never deletes tasks in your task apps. Calendar sync can delete a synced event in Google Calendar or Notion when you delete that event in Xenith. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Importing content. When you import pages, documents, databases or files from Notion, Google Docs or Word, you confirm that you have the right to copy that content into Xenith. An import makes a copy and does not change the original. Importing again updates the imported pages you have not edited and leaves your edits alone. To protect the service, one import is limited in size (for example the number of pages, databases and rows, and the size of files), and anything over a limit is left out and listed in the import report.

Notion database sync. Keeping an imported Notion database in sync is off until you turn it on, and starts with a preview that changes nothing. When it is on, Xenith writes the changes you make in Xenith to that Notion database. If both sides change the same cell, Xenith keeps its value and asks you. A row deleted on one side is deleted on the other only when you confirm it. You can switch sync off at any time.

12. Disclaimer

Xenith is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Xenith is not medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice. In particular, the Biometric Wizard and any calorie, macro-nutrient, or activity-level estimates it generates are general informational calculations only (based on standard formulas such as the Mifflin-St Jeor equation) and are not personalized medical or nutritional advice — consult a physician or registered dietitian to determine your actual caloric and nutritional needs.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xenith is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the Service.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Xenith at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Xenith after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
