Growth Tracker

Map your skills, track development, and visualise your growth arc

GrowthOne of Xenith's 9 life dimensions

Xenith's Growth Tracker lets you define the skills and competencies you're actively developing, log evidence of progress, and visualise your development across the Growth life dimension — separate from project work or daily habits.

Key Benefits

Skill tree structure

Define skills you're actively developing and organise them into a personal skill tree. Each skill has a current level (1–10), a target level, and a log of progress entries — like a personal development record.

Evidence-based logging

Log concrete evidence of skill progress: completed courses, practice sessions, feedback received, projects applied. Evidence-based logging is more honest than self-rating and produces a searchable record of your actual development.

Linked to Learning dimension

Growth Tracker data feeds directly into Xenith's Learning life dimension score. The more consistently you log growth activity, the higher your Learning dimension score — which appears in your Insights radar chart.

Long-term arc visibility

Unlike daily habit trackers that show short-term streaks, the Growth Tracker is designed for long-term visibility. A skill you've been developing for 6 months shows a visibly different history than one you started last week.

How to Use Growth Tracker

  1. 1

    Add a skill to track

In the Growth section (/app/growth), click '+ Add Skill'. Name the skill, set your current level (1–10) and your target level.

  2. 2

    Log a growth entry

Each time you make meaningful progress on a skill, add a log entry: describe what you did, rate the quality of the session, and optionally update your skill level.

  3. 3

    Review your skill history

Each skill card shows a timeline of your log entries. Scroll back to see how your practice has evolved over weeks and months.

  4. 4

    Monitor your Learning dimension score

Check /app/insights to see how Growth Tracker activity affects your Learning dimension score in the life balance radar chart.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Xenith's Growth Tracker different from a learning management system?+

A learning management system (LMS) is designed for formal courses and curricula, often with exams and certifications. Xenith's Growth Tracker is designed for informal, self-directed skill development — the kind of learning that happens outside courses, through practice, projects, and reflection.

Can I track both hard skills and soft skills?+

Yes. You can name any skill you're working on — Python programming (hard skill), public speaking (soft skill), photography (creative skill). The tracker doesn't make a distinction. You define what progress looks like for each skill.

Is the Growth Tracker linked to any external learning platforms?+

Not currently. Xenith's Growth Tracker is self-reported — you log your own progress. Integration with platforms like Coursera or Duolingo to auto-import completion data is on the product roadmap.
