Routine Builder
Build and lock in morning, afternoon, and evening routines
Xenith's Routine Builder lets you design custom routines for morning, afternoon, and evening. Create sequences of habits and tasks, check them off daily, and track your consistency streak — all in one place.
Key Benefits
Three dedicated routine windows
Xenith gives you separate Morning, Afternoon, and Evening routine slots. This aligns your habits to energy levels — high-output work in the morning, mid-day maintenance, wind-down in the evening.
Custom step sequences
Each routine contains an ordered list of steps. Drag to reorder. Each step can be as simple as 'drink water' or as detailed as 'write 500 words for project X'.
Daily check-off with streak tracking
Check off each step as you complete it. Xenith tracks your routine completion streak and shows a calendar heat map of your consistency over the past 90 days.
Multiple routines per slot
Need a weekday routine and a weekend routine? Create multiple named routines per slot and switch between them. Xenith preserves the history of each separately.
How to Use Routine Builder
- 1
Create a routine
Go to /app/routines, click '+ New Routine', name it (e.g., 'Weekday Morning'), and assign it a slot: Morning, Afternoon, or Evening.
- 2
Add your steps
Add each habit or task as a step. Keep steps specific and binary — things you can definitively complete or skip. Aim for 5–10 steps per routine.
- 3
Run your routine daily
Each day, open the routine and check off steps as you complete them. The progress bar fills as you go.
- 4
Review your consistency
The heat map on the routine card shows daily completion over the past 90 days. Xenith also shows your current streak and longest streak.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many routines can I create in Xenith?+
There's no limit on the number of routines you can create during the beta. You can create multiple routines per slot — for example, a Weekday Morning and a Weekend Morning routine.
What's the difference between a routine in Xenith and a habit tracker?+
Routines in Xenith are sequential — they're designed to be done in order as a complete block of your day. A habit tracker logs individual habits independently. Xenith has both: routines for ordered sequences and dimension tracking for individual habits across life areas.
Does Xenith send me reminders to do my routines?+
Xenith currently shows your routines as the first item in your daily planning view. Browser notification reminders are on the roadmap for a future release.
